Super reviewer Sian!

We have another post from our super reviewer Sian!

Check out his review of Molly Knox Ostertag's Witch Boy below:

The story is about a boy who saves his family by doing what he's not supposed to do. In the family tradition, boys shapeshift while girls do witchery. Aster is the main character in the story. Aster being a boy must do shapeshifting, but he wanted to learn witchery. He sneaked in on his sister’s lessons and learned witchery. Mikaski is his family’s danger. The author takes you through a magical journey of how Aster defeated Mikaski by using witchery. The story has great messages about friendship, courage, and determination. This story is a graphic novel. Honestly, it is a bit hard to understand but my mother helped me. The book has great and realistic pictures that made me glued to the book. I learned that if you want to do something you have to face challenges and that anybody can do anything.

I am also planning to read the sequels.

Witch Boy is also available in Spanish, El Niño Brujo and in eBook format.
