Hello all! 

First of all, my apologies for the lack of blog posts this fall.

We are so grateful for all of your support for the blog and we will continue to work hard to bring you as much content as often as we can.

Hopefully we'll see you at one our many upcoming programs this month!


Main Library:


Little Movers Creative Dance:

Calling all tiny dancers! Fall in love with creative movement in this joyful class. Your little one will practice skills such as sharing, waiting their turn and general socialization, using songs to enhance their growing imagination and development.

National Picture Book month:

November is National Picture Book Month, a time to celebrate the print picture book in an increasingly digital age. We will share a favorite picture book and then do a book themed craft afterward!

Owls Up Close:

How often do you get to see an owl up close? Join Naturalist Marcia Wilson and Mark Wilson to meet six owls local to New England. Learn about their calls, habitats, and where to find them. Sponsored by the Friends of the Worcester Public Library.

Switch it Up! Games: 

Monday, November 20th and 27th at 4pm

(Burncoat, Goddard, Roosevelt, and Tatnuck) 

Drop in and play videogames on our Nintendo Switch. Choose from Overcooked, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Just Dance, Super Smash Bros., and others. Games are rated E10 and E.






Fall Craftapalooza:

Wednesday, November 15th at 4pm: (Burncoat, Goddard, Roosevelt, and Tatnuck)

Ages 6 and up: Make a colorful paper Fall leaf wreath! Crafting enhances problem solving and decision-making skills while strengthening dexterity, creativity, and flexibility.

Cooking Crew: (Burncoat Branch)
November 17th at 4pm

Ages 7 and up: Learn about food and cooking with the Cooking Crew! We will measure ingredients, use simple kitchen tools, and follow easy recipes to create and eat tasty treats.

November 17th: Make nut-free trail mix! Mix crunchy seeds, dried and dehydrated fruit, a salty snack, and a sweet treat to create a nut-free trail mix!

Native American Heritage Month

Tuesday, November 14th at 4pm (Goddard): 

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month with Les Eaglewind! Listen to Native American myths and stories. Experience Native American flute and dance and play Native American drums! Children of all ages and their families welcome.

Tatnuck's 10th Birthday Party! Monday, November 27th at 4pm    
                                            Celebrate the tenth birthday of the Tatnuck Magnet Branch Library. Join us for cupcakes, music, and fun with your friends! Children of all ages and their families welcome.



Frances Perkins Branch:

Thursday, November 16th at 4pm

Kulina Folk Art will help each participant make their own creation using glycerin based soap. Customize your soap with glitter, scents, colors, and a rubber ducky. Space is limited, so please register to reserve your spot. Suggested for ages 8 and up.
