Emma, in Cupcake Diaries, is making new friends at summer camp. She gets to try on a dress for a celebrity and thinks of performing in the camp talent show.

Front Desk
by Kelly Yang

The book is kinda cool. I love how Mia went from no one, to the talk of the town and still didn't care. Mia met Lupe and they became the best of friends so she was kinda happy for school more than before.

Also available in Large Type, eBook, and eAudio formats.

-Janayah, 10.5

Amari and the Great Game (
Supernatural Investigations #2) by B.B. Alston

Amazing! This book is so good I could stay awake all night to read it!

Big Nate in a Class by Himself

Big Nate Novels #1) by Lincoln Peirce

I think that this book is good one. I would add it to my favorites. It is very funny.😍

Z Is for Moose
written by Kelly Bingham illu
strated by Paul O. Zelinsky

Z Is for Moose is a book where in the beginning, Moose is trying to get to the page he wants to be on. But Zebra, the animal that leads the alphabet, is trying to keep Moose off the pages that he is not supposed to be on, to save him the page that Zebra wants Moose to be on. This is a very, very, very nice and funny book.

On Account of the Gum
by Adam Rex

On Account of the Gum is about a little girl that likes to chew gum. One night she chews gum in bed and wakes up to find that the gum is in her hair. The mom, dad aunt, grandpa and other people try different ways to get the gum out of her hair. Until she says..... "STOP. Everybody get out!" and then the gum pops up and leaves. And, did I mention, that this happened on her birthday and it's picture day at school. At the end you get to see pictures of her on picture day. (Hilarious) The End.

-Wellin, 10

Dog Man: A Tale of Two Kitties
(Dog Man #3) by Dav Pilkey

This is my favorite series. I have read each book from it. The kitties are hilarious and I love that it is a comic book!

Also available in Spanish (Hombre Perro. Historia de dos gatitos) and eBook

Shining Night (
Faithgirlz / Lena in the Spotlight #3)
by Alena and Wynter Pitts

It was really good. It's about a girl meeting her idol and getting a part in a movie. Even though, things happen along the way she gets through it.

This third book in the Lena in the Spotlight series is not yet available in our library system, but you can request the first two books: Hello Stars Day Dreams and Movie Scenes from libraries outside of Worcester.

Cake Magic!: Mix & Match Your Way to 100 Amazing Combinations

Caroline Wright

This book written by Caroline Wright was amazing because I got the opportunity to learn more creative ways to cook cakes and more.😊

Bloom of the Flower Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #20)
by Tracey West

I liked it. It is about a werewolf who is Oscar’s father. Oscar is the Dragon Master of Wildroot, a Flower Dragon. Oscar didn’t know the werewolf was his father until the Wildroot used his bloom. Wildroot used his bloom to make the werewolf human again. The Dragon Masters helped Wildroot. I liked this story because I like plants. I would recommend this book to someone who likes flowers or dragons.

Also available in Playaway format

Big Nate Say Good-bye to Dork City

In Big Nate: Say Goodbye to Dork City, Nate went trick-or-treating, his dad had out no sugar fruit rolls, and Nate got jealous of Artur. Next, Nate and his friends put together a band, Enslave the Mollusk, but the power went out and Artur just played the kazoo. After that, Nate lost his lucky socks and when he found them, he was upset because someone washed all the luck away. Last he tried to make friends with Marcus but he has to stop hanging out with his friends and his locker is just filled with junk.

Also available in eBook.
